We don’t shy away from disappointment at Caramore—we don't placate an individual suffering from a psychiatric disorder into always feeling good about himself;rather, we’ve seen that challenge and disappointment eventually lead to success, and success builds lasting confidence.
Experiencing disappointment implies an attempt at trying to accomplishment something. Keep trying enough times—with our full support and guidance—and success is going to happen. This is the true way to get some happiness back—to feel really good about yourself.
Our method of rehabilitation is that of the real world—exposure to challenges, experiences, disappointments and successes. No happiness or fulfillment can come from avoiding this. Our goal is to assist in developing confident and disciplined adults who can navigate disappointment and put off instant gratification with patience and perseverance. The only training ground that exists for this is to try and accomplish something—to try Caramore, to try and live life.
Anyone who tries to accomplish the challenge that Caramore holds has our absolute respect and full commitment to help you make it happen.
